Volume 81: Force of Habit
21 days…it takes 21 days to form a habit. This goes for both good and bad habits but I’m going to go with the good on today…
Hey! I hope that I have found you well. This past month has been trying…you wouldn’t believe my smile, if I started to detail it all. Moving forward, I have been in school 21 days+ and what a wonderful habit it has become. One of my main concerns was finding a groove so that work, school and life held a natural flow.
Early Christmas? Merry KITmas
Well, SCHOOL IS GREAT. Yes, I am tired but I feel so affirmed. I am a working future professional and it’s beautiful. Some seem surprised when I say that I am learning so much, but I truly am. I am largely a self-taught stylist with very moderate training in my high school years. Now I am learning about the chemistry behind the hair and scalp, color formulations (Color Week was intense), color applications and the list surely goes on. 🙂 Do not even get me started on my kit (see image). I am mentally, physically, LITERALLY equipped to succeed as a hair industry professional.
So there’s my newest habit. I can only hope that you all are forming great, new habits and breaking bad, old habits especially regarding your hair life! Out with excessive heat and stress and in with clean ends and more water starting today. 🙂 That is all I have for now – until next time. I’ve made the decision to switch formats to one quality post a month, two posts with a special guest (I can hear a post in the works from Queen, Janessa B.). 😛
